Hentges was appointed Manager of Corporate and Physician Relations for University of Iowa Health Care in 2008. He graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Construction Engineering and received his MHA from the University of Iowa.

Hagie received her undergraduate degree in marketing and masters degree in public, private and commercial recreation (emphasis in health promotion and cardiac rehabilitation) from The University of Iowa. She has worked as an exercise physiologist and coordinator of an outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program as well as working for the American Cancer Society.
