About Us: Mission, Vision, Philosophy

Mission
The mission of the Department of Rehabilitation Therapies is to provide comprehensive, high quality, rehabilitation services to the people we serve in a multidisciplinary, responsive, and operationally efficient environment. This will be accomplished through the coordination of rehabilitation discipline at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and the successful blending of patient care, education, and research.

Vision
The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies will be a state and national resource for patient care, education, and research. Our clients will benefit from professionals with specialized skills, as well as a multidisciplinary team approach to patient and family centered care.

Philosophy
