Outpatient Services


Two education consultants and a clinical psychologist provide comprehensive assessments and evaluation reports to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of learning and behavior disorders affecting school functioning. Evaluations by other team members, for example, the speech and language pathologist or occupational therapist, may be arranged as needed.

Psychology evaluations may include cognitive, neuropsychological, projective, and directive affective assessments.

Educational assessments include:

  • Basic skills reviews
  • Specialized diagnostic assessments in basic learning areas
  • Attention assessments
  • Behavioral observations

These may lead to specific social, learning, and behavioral recommendations.

Areas of speech/language assessments include:

  • Phonological
  • Receptive
  • Expressive language
  • Social
  • Pragmatic

Services provided by educational consultants and psychologists may include:

  • Individual testing
  • Assistance in developing IEPs and behavior programming
  • Observation, consultation, outreach to community schools

Services provided by the speech and language pathologist may include:

  • Speech/language assessments
  • Communication assessments
  • Programming assistance
