Participation Requirements

Physicians can refer patients to Pulmonary Rehabilitation by calling 319-356-8396. Any adult with chronic, but stable lung disease is a candidate for the program. This may include, but is not limited to:
  • Asthma
  • Bronchiectasis
  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Emphysema
  • Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
  • Lung cancer
  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Pulmonary fibrosis
  • Thoracic surgery

To achieve success in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, the participant must have the desire to work hard, become more active, and lead a healthy lifestyle.
