Understanding and Managing
Your Spine Pain

Spine pain can be one of the most frustrating and depressing of all health problems. It can affect your relationships with family, friends, and employers. When treated by those experienced with all types of spine pain, you can return to a healthy, active lifestyle.

The critical first step to finding a solution is to determine if you have acute or chronic spine pain. The type of pain you have determines the treatment plan developed for you by the UI Spine Center team of specialists.

Once the UI Spine Center staff members diagnose your spine problem, you will be referred to the care of the acute treatment team or the chronic treatment team. You, your family, and our team will develop a step-by-step treatment program specific to your problem.
