• A graduate degree in theology from an accredited seminary, school of theology or religion.
  (Equivalencies will be considered based on vocational/life experience and education.)
• Ordination (or the equivalent) by a recognized religious organization preferred
• Three years of experience as a clergy, professed religious, or spiritual care provider
• One unit Clinical Paastoral Education (CPE)

Residents are accepted on the basis of their:

• Commitment to ministry
• Demonstrated interest and ability in personal and professional growth
• Ability to serve as spiritual care providers in a large medial complex
