TIC and Tourette’s Disorders
TIC's are brief, repetitive, and stereotyped movements or vocalizations lasting only a fraction of a second.

  • Child and adolescent psychiatry offers evaluation, consultation and treatment for patients with Tourette’s or other TIC disorders. During the initial evaluation or consultation, individual recommendations for treatment are discussed. This treatment may be provided in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic or in our downtown location at Plaza Centre One. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Services include medication management, educational consultation/testing, psychological testing, individual therapy, and family counseling.
