STARBRIGHT World, a product of STARBRIGHT Foundation, is a private,
secure, computer network specially designed for hospitalized children
and teenagers. It provides an interactive space to communicate with other
kids going through the same emotional, social and behavioral challenges
resulting from a serious or chronic medical condition. It also acts as
a distraction and contains many educational tools.
This network is available
in a select group of hospitals across the nation, including University of Iowa Children's Hospital. There are computers available in several areas for
patient use.
