Milk Donors

Testimonials

Milk donors are remarkable. They give life and existence to the milk bank program. Through their generous gifts of milk, tiny babies have the opportunity to thrive and grow.

Milk donors know that babies are born to be nourished on human milk. Having donor milk available is a testimony to the superior value of human milk.

Are you one of these women?

To donate, you must be in good health, nursing and produce extra milk. Donors must be willing to:

  • Pump and store milk according to milk bank guidelines
  • Donate a minimum of 200 ounces of milk during the first year of lactation (we can receive milk stored for 6 months or less)
  • Not donate milk when temporarily taking medication including over-the counter
  • Discuss location options for milk drop-off with the milk bank (we do not receive shipped milk)
  • If there is a milk collection depot in your area, deliver your frozen milk to the depot
