Registration and information
- May 2009 marked six years of feeding donor human milk in Iowa.
The usage is spreading as more Iowans learn about it. More infants are benefiting from being fed human milk. More milk donations are expeditiously needed.
- Milk bank staff travels to more Iowa locations to meet area donors and bring their milk to Iowa City.
- There are three milk bank billboard displays in the Quad City area (see Milk Donor Section).
- Needed--Additional Milk Collection Depots throughout Iowa (see Support Options and Sponsors Section). There are depots in Burlington, Cedar Falls, Clive, Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque and Spencer. A depot will open in Cedar Rapids in July/August 2009.
- The Mother’s Milk Bank of Iowa moved to the Liberty Square complex, 119 2nd Street, Suite 400, Coralville.
