UI Family Care, a network of 13 primary care clinics located throughout southeast Iowa, is your family’s medical home.
Primary care just for you
A medical home is not a building. It’s how we approach primary care—by offering services that are comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate, and focused on you as an individual.
Choosing a primary care physician is one of the most important decisions you and your family can make. You not only need someone you feel comfortable discussing your health care with, but a partner who knows you, your needs, and can help you make the decisions that keep you and your family healthy.
It's why we take the time to get to know you and your family, and to play an active role in the community. And it's why we make the patient-physician relationship our top priority.
Family-centered care
We are committed to understanding you, your family, and all your health care needs so that we can deliver high quality care centered around each member of your family. We serve all ages, addressing needs ranging from prevention, to routine care of illness and injury, to specialized care for the most complex diseases, injuries, and conditions.
We take a team approach to your health care, which means our team can include (depending on the clinic) faculty physicians, resident physicians, nurses, technologists, and support staff. Everyone works together to make your visit a positive one, with timely communication, minimal waiting, and the highest level of health care.
With a variety of locations and providers to choose from, UI Family Care offers care tailored to every member of your family including:
We know your time is valuable, which is also why we offer additional services at many clinics to make your health care visit as easy as possible. These services vary by site and can include on-site laboratory services, X-ray, pharmacy, and MRI.
