UIChoice Non-Emergency Health Care
Away from Home

If you need non-emergency care, you can seek care with any provider. The cost to you will depend upon who you see.

Level 1: UI and UI Community Medical Services providers will cost $10 co-pay for the office visit.

Level 2: BlueChoice network in the state of Iowa, including local providers will cost $15 co-pay for the office visit.

Level 3: Any provider not in Level 1 or 2 will cost 40% co-insurance for the office visit.

You may find providers in other states by entering your prefix XQI to ensure you find providers participating in your network for the least out-of-pocket expense.
