UI Women's Health at UI Hospitals and Clinics provides access to health care for women of all ages. In addition to physician specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, this service links to family medicine, general medicine, heart and vascular care, breast health, women's wellness and counseling, and complementary and alternative medicine.  

At the core of women's health is obstetrics and gynecology. In 2008, U.S.News & World Report ranked our gynecology services among the best in the nation (31st). Nearly 30 physician specialists are joined by certified nurse midwives, advanced registered nurse practitioners and an excellent nursing and ancillary health staff.

Our patient care commitment emphasizes compassion, convenience and comfort as well as the most advanced technical expertise in an academic medical center.

Facilities include the UI Women's Health Center, a new outpatient center for obstetrics and gynecology with 42 exam rooms, seven ultrasound rooms, a large waiting area and sub-waiting areas throughout. UI Women's Health Center amenities include:
