Types of Volunteers:

Community Volunteers
This program is designed for adults who wish to make a commitment to improving the experience of our patients and their families.

Staff Volunteers
Many staff members at UI Hospitals and Clinics volunteer a lunch hour or an evening to the place they are employed.

College Student Volunteers
This program is dedicated to giving students currently enrolled in a college or university a variety of service opportunities providing hands-on experience in patient care.

Junior Volunteers
Junior Volunteer Services is an eight week summer program that provides an opportunity for young people between the ages of 14 and 18 to volunteer in a health care setting. An emphasis is placed on exposure to different health care fields through weekly career seminars.
