Request for Funds
Volunteer Services at UI Hospitals and Clinics has several revenue producing businesses (Wild Rose Gifts, the Rooftop Café kiosk and food carts, and the Fourth Floor Salon) and partnerships (Wild Rose Books and all hospital Java House locations). Special lobby fundraising events are also sponsored throughout the year.
Funds earned are used to support requests by UI Hospitals and Clinics departments that directly benefit our patients and their families. Any staff or group within UI Hospitals and Clinics may initiate these requests with approval from the department head.
The blue Staxi wheelchairs are a great example of a project funded by Volunteer Services to improve the patient/family experience at our hospital! |
