The Women's Wellness & Counseling Service staff provides consultation services to patients utilizing the OB-GYN/Endocrinology Department's In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF)/Donor Services Program. Health assessments are conducted for sperm, oocyte, and embryo donors and recipients when they enter the program. These assessments help patients clarify their role in the process, provide a forum to discuss their hopes and goals, and address any mental health issues that may impact or be impacted by infertility issues. The option of engaging in additional sessions of supportive therapy with WWC staff is also available.
