UI Hospitals and Clinics is committed to providing personal computing access to patients and their families through a variety of services.

The Patients' Library (located by taking Elevator F to the 8th level) can supply patients and visitors with laptop computers. With the laptops, users can gain Internet access through ethernet ports in every patient room or use wireless access at a number of locations throughout the hospitals and clinics.

In addition, several patient-care and patient-service areas provide workstations for patients and their families. These include:
