How to Use the Directory
The Consultation and Referral Directory has been designed
expressly for the use and convenience of the referring physician. The
Directory describes the clinical, educational, and research
activities of University of Iowa Health Care, including University of
Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the University of Iowa Roy J. and
Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. These services may be helpful
in the management of your patients.
The Directory contains a description of each department,
division, and section within the organization. Each description
includes:
- An introduction to the department, division, or section and
its special services, clinics, and laboratories, listed
alphabetically
- A description of the services and referral process
- Profiles of medical staff, including professional credentials
and special clinical interests
Most clinical services are described in the section titled
"Clinical Departments." However,
additional information can also be found under "Multi-Specialty
Programs and Services."
