How to Reach Us
The easiest way to reach a physician or to obtain more information
about any of the services described in this directory is to use the
toll-free UI Consult number listed at the bottom of each directory
page.
UI Consult - 1-800-322-8442
Launched in March 1996, UI
Consult serves as a direct connection to the faculty, technology,
and expertise of University of Iowa Health Care. Faculty consultation
is available 24 hours a day. UI Consult representatives are trained
to provide personalized service and to help you make the contact as
quickly as possible. UI Consult representatives can assist you in
locating a physician or, if you are unsure of which physician to
contact, representatives can route your call to an appropriate
physician. A representative will stay on the line to assure the
appropriate connection is made and to ensure follow-through on your
requests.
As a centralized resource center, UI Consult representatives can
also assist with:
- Obtaining specialty consultation

providers will need to reach us.
