- Hypertension Service. Provides diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic services for patients with essential and all secondary forms of hypertension. Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring services are available 24 hours a day.
- Renal Dialysis Center. Provides all treatment modalities for renal dialysis. Outpatient units are located in Iowa City, Muscatine, Grinnell, North Liberty, and Washington, Iowa. Acute/inpatient services are located at UI Hospitals and Clinics, the Iowa City VA Medical Center, and Mercy Iowa City. Staff operate a major home dialysis program providing training and support services for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis as well as pediatric dialysis.
- Renal Outpatient and Inpatient Consultation. Comprehensive consultation services provide for patients with hypertension, fluid and electrolyte disorders, and renal diseases, or who require renal replacement therapy.
- Renal Transplant Consultation. Transplant donor evaluation is provided in addition to acute and chronic management of patients receiving a kidney transplant.
