The purpose of our colposcopy clinic is to identify premalignant cervical pathology as early as invasive cervical cancers. Additionally, treatment of these problems is offered through our LASER/LEEP program.

Ultrasonography

The Obstetrics and Gynecology ultrasound service provides all levels of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound service. The unit is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine to perform obstetric and gynecological scanning. State-of-the-art imaging modalities include power and color Doppler and others.

Gynecologic Ultrasound Unit

This unit evaluates gynecologic abnormalities by transvaginal ultrasound. The gynecology ultrasound unit is staffed by two RDMS certified sonographers as well as three highly trained gynecologic faculty. Procedures offered include routine transvaginal ultrasound as well as saline-infusion sonography (sonohysterography) for the evaluation of abnormal bleeding and uterine anomalies.
