Veteran's Administration Medical Center Clinical Laboratory

The Department of Pathology enjoys a collaborative relationship with the Clinical and Anatomic Laboratories of the Iowa City Veteran's Administration Medical Center. This laboratory is a full-service 24-7 laboratory. Faculty of the Department of Pathology are supported by the VAMC to provide clinical laboratory direction and consultations. Dr. Haugen’s research activities are focused on the regulation of papillomavirus gene expression.
