Billing and Insurance
After your visit, you will receive two statements by mail - one for professional (physician and dentist) services and one for hospital (laboratory, radiology, etc.) services. If you have provided us with health insurance information, the hospital will submit claims for all services directly to your insurance company. The statements you receive will identify charges, payments received, and any balance for which you are responsible.
If you have questions about your bill, please contact the staff in our hospital business office. You can reach them Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 319-356-2211. You are also welcome to stop by the office, which is located on the first floor of the hospital between elevators B and C.
