Staying Outside the Hospital

You'll find information on area motels in the brochure rack at the information desk in the main lobby (319-356-2456) or through the Patient Representative Office (319-356-1802). Families of pediatric patients can receive information about staying at the Ronald McDonald House from nursing or social service staff members; call 319-356-2207 for more information.

Staying Within the Hospital

For adult patients receiving treatment and their families, the Helen K. Rossi Guest House offers affordable and convenient accommodations located within the hospital. Each room in this 14-room hospitality house features two twin beds, a fold-out chair, and private bathroom, telephone, and television. Laundry and kitchenette facilities are also available. No reservations are taken; guests are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Weekend Guest Room Program offers additional rooms for guests and patients on the waiting list for the Helen K. Rossi Guest House, or for those needing short-term weekend accommodations. These rooms are available each weekend from noon on Friday through 10 a.m. Tuesday.
