Adult Bronchoscopy and Special Procedures

The Adult Bronchoscopy Service specializes in bronchoscopy and airway management, including biopsies, lavage, laser therapy, cryotherapy, pleural procedures, stent placement, and other diagnostic aspects of diagnostics and airway management.

Adult Pulmonary Function/Exercise Lab

The Adult Pulmonary Function/Exercise Service offers diagnostic services including pulmonary function testing, pulmonary exercise testing, metabolic measurement, histamine challenges, medicated aerosol delivery, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, and other diagnostic aspects of pulmonary medicine and rehabilitation.

Critical Care Services

Critical care services are provided in the intensive and intermediate care units under the direction of a physician. Services include mechanical ventilation (conventional, non-invasive and high frequency), continuous positive airway pressure, airway management, aerosolized medications, pulmonary hygiene, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen and specialty medical gas administration, patient transport, patient consultation, and other clinical aspects of respiratory care.

Hyperbaric Medicine Service

The Hyperbaric Medicine Service operates a multi-place hyperbaric oxygen chamber and specializes in both the acute treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning, air embolism and necrotizing fasciitis, and in the treatment and management of chronic non-healing wounds.

Pediatric Pulmonary Diagnostics

The Pediatric Pulmonary Diagnostics Lab offers a full range of services including pulmonary function testing with trend-based analysis, pulmonary exercise testing, metabolic measurement, diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, infant sleep studies, medicated aerosol delivery, arterial blood gases, patient education, and other diagnostic aspects of respiratory care.
