UI Hospitals and Clinics Announces
New Schizophrenia Clinic

Specialists in the Department of Psychiatry at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics announced the availability of a new clinic to meet the needs of people diagnosed with schizophrenia.

The clinic will provide specialized medication management to patients affected by schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. The clinic will enhance the continuity of care for patients and also provide opportunities to participate in research.

Patients may schedule an appointment in the clinic by calling the triage nurse in the adult psychiatry clinic at 319-353-6314. Clinic hours are Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon and Friday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m.
