Specialists at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will offer a free screening session to check for signs of head and neck cancer from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 21, on the second level of the Pomerantz Family Pavilion in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Registration is required for this free head and neck cancer screening program. To register and receive directions, contact Brandy Howe at 319-356-4351.
The screeners will include:
- Meg Colwill, clinical nurse coordinator
- Kenneth Dornfeld, M.D., UI Hospitals and Clinics physician and assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology
- Jeffery Markt, D.D.S., UI Hospitals and Clinics dentist and clinical associate professor in Hospital Dentistry
- Russell Smith, M.D., UI Hospitals and Clinics physician and assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology
- Ann Sporkman-Link, UI Hospitals and Clinics speech pathologist
- Resident physicians from the Department of Otolaryngology
