Community Seminar to Focus on
Emergency Treatment of Stroke


Recognizing and responding to the warning signs of stroke will be the focus of a free community seminar Wednesday, May 30, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 1220 First Avenue, Coralville, Iowa.

Join University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics doctors Harold Adams, MD, Neurology, and Azeem Ahmed, MD, Emergency Medicine, as they present "Code Stroke: Emergency Treatment of Stroke."

Each year nearly 700,000 Americans experience a stroke. Stroke is the third-leading cause of death in the United States and the leading cause of long-term disability.
