UI Women's Health: Your Gateway to

The new University of Iowa Women's Health Center serves as the hub for women's health and home to obstetrics and gynecology. Using a multidisciplinary approach, UI Women's Health offers access to a women-focused health care team dedicated to providing quality patient care that meets the expectations of the women of today. A community open house for the UI Women's Health Center is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, in the Pomerantz Family Pavilion, Level 3. Parking is available in ramps 2 or 4. Visitors can tour the more than 35,000-square-foot facility, which includes additional ultrasound rooms, an array of state-of-the-art equipment, as well as an expanded reception area. Additional tours of the nearby internal medicine specialty clinics, along with bone densitometry, phlebotomy intake, and pulmonary and interventional testing, which also opened this summer, will also be available. The facility represents the completion of a $39.6 million project that also includes a new Ambulatory Surgery Center, Dermatology Clinic, Medicine Specialty Clinics, Pulmonary Diagnostic and Interventional Services Area, Bone Densitometry and a Phlebotomy Intake Station. |
