Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center
Will Host Oncology Art Exhibit


Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at The University of Iowa will host an art exhibit created by people affected by cancer. The exhibit is open to the public November 2 to 7 on Level 5 of the Pomerantz Family Pavilion.

The display is a unique exhibit honoring the journey of patients from around the world affected by cancer. The Eli Lilly Oncology Exhibit features works of art created by patients diagnosed with cancer, their loved ones, and caregivers to chronicle their experiences with the disease

Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center will host a reception Monday, November 5, at 6 p.m. George Weiner, MD, director, Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, will make brief remarks at 6:45 p.m.

Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center is Iowa’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center. NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers are recognized as the leaders in developing new approaches to cancer prevention and cancer care, conducting leading-edge research and educating the public about cancer.
