Brian K. Link, MD, cancer specialist with Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center will speak Thursday, March 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Quality Inn and Suites Highlander Conference Center, 2525 North Dodge Street, Iowa City, on the role clinical trials play in the progress against blood cancers.
He will discuss:

- Distinguishing fact from fiction when it comes to clinical trials
- How to talk to your doctor about clinical trials as a possible treatment option
- Recent and ongoing advances in the treatment of blood cancers
- How to locate clinical trials that may be right for you
