First STAR 106.1 KLSS Radiothon Will Benefit UI Children’s Hospital
STAR 106.1 KLSS-FM of Mason City will air the live broadcast of its inaugural radiothon October 22 to 24, 2008, from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City,
All proceeds from the radiothon will benefit University of Iowa Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network. The STAR 106.1 KLSS-FM morning team of Harry O and Jared will host the broadcast from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 6 a.m. to noon on Friday.
Harry O and Jared will share the stories of patients and their families who receive care at UI Children’s Hospital.

Y105 Radiothon Raised $80,000 for UI Children’s Hospital
The seventh annual Y105-FM Radiothon benefiting University of Iowa Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network raised $80,133 during a live broadcast Sept. 10-12 from Kennedy Mall in Dubuque.
The Y105 broadcast team shared the stories of children and their families who receive care at UI Children's Hospital in Iowa City.
