Ken and Colleen, STAR 102.5's morning team, will broadcast their 11th annual radiothon supporting University of Iowa's Children's Hospital Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22.
The radiothon supports UI Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network. Star 102.5 radiothons have raised more than $2 million in the last 10 years. Proceeds from this year's event will provide comfort items for UI Children's Hospital patients and their families.
During the radiothon, which will kick off Thursday at 5 a.m. in the Colloton Pavilion, UI Hospitals and Clinics, and end Friday at 5 p.m., Ken and Colleen will share the stories of former and current patients of UI Children's Hospital, and the dedicated physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals who care for them.
