Newsletter gives physicians bite-size ‘news they can use’

University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics recently launched a new publication specifically targeted to physicians, called UI Consult.

The quarterly publication’s title mirrors the name of the hospital’s 24-hour UI Consult physician consultation and referral service.

The newsletter provides updates on new faculty, services, and initiatives that are part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to enhance its services. Topics covered in the first issue included ultrafiltration for heart patients and the hospital’s Admission and Bed Placement Center.

Physicians who would prefer to see the issue online rather than receiving it by mail in paper format should send an e-mail request to clancy-champanois@uiowa.edu.
