Nursing Professionals magazine has named University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics 81st on its "Top 100 Hospitals to Work For" list, while 18 UI Health Care nurses are recognized by the "100 Great Iowa Nurses" program.

Nursing Professionals , a national magazine for nursing students, is a nursing recruiting tool for hospitals, the military, and corporations.

The 2009 "100 Great Iowa Nurses" recognition program is sponsored by the Iowa Nurses Association, Iowa Nurses Foundation, Iowa Hospital Association, and the UI College of Nursing. The honored UI nurses were:
