Breast cancer is the most common female cancer. Of the estimated 7,400 new cases of cancer in Iowa this year, 2,300 are breast cancer, accounting for 31.1 percent of the total. About 11 million Americans are diagnosed with SAD, seasonal affective disorder. Women with SAD outnumber men four to one.
