Parents magazine ranks UI Children's Hospital
University of Iowa Children's Hospital ranks 20th among children's hospitals in America, according to a survey conducted by Parents magazine. In addition, the pediatric emergency care provided in the Emergency Treatment Center at UI Hospitals and Clinics is rated fifth in the nation.
Parents magazine surveyed more than 100 children's hospitals to determine where the more than three million American children hospitalized each year can get the best care possible.
New Ob-Gyn department head
Kimberly Leslie, MD, has been named head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
