Pharmacy Technicians preparing IV Admixtures in the clean room

I.V. Admixtures Service provides a centralized area for compounding scheduled sterile IV medications.  Over 400,000 doses of IV medications are prepared on an annual basis for inpatients as well as patients seen in UIHC clinics. All products are prepared in a state-of-the-art clean room environment.  Pharmacists who work in this area supervise pharmacy technicians and perform the final checks for the compounding of these items.
