Click here for a map of our location. Our mailing address is: 4189 Westlawn, The University of Iowa; Iowa City, IA 52242-1100. The Student Health Service is accessible to persons with disabilities, and the entrance of the clinic has an automatic door opener. Buses that stop directly in front of the entrance to the clinic include those on the Red, Blue, and Pentacrest routes of the University of Iowa Cambus system; the Plaen View, Westwinds, and Manville Heights routes of the Iowa City Transit System; and all routes of the Coralville Transit System. Limited metered parking space is available at the street level of the Newton Road Parking Ramp. Look for signs to direct you to metered parking. Student Health Service and Westlawn Pharmacy patients must feed the meter and register their cars at the pharmacy [or front desk of the clinic, if seen in the clinic]. Over-the-Counter Medications For the convenience of patients, the Westlawn Pharmacy carries a wide array of over-the-counter (OTC) products for sale. Available items include analgesics; antacids and GI medications; cough, cold, and allergy medications; condoms; pregnancy test kits; glucose test strips, lancets, and select insulins; various topical products; vitamins; toothpaste and sundries. Prescription Payment Options For the convenience of students, the Westlawn Pharmacy accepts University ID Cards which have activated charging privileges. Pharmacy staff can place charges on the student's U-Bill as a means of payment for prescription services. In some cases, use of the University ID Card may allow for payroll deduction. Students wishing to place charges on their U-Bill must present pharmacy personell with a current university ID Card. Other payment options include cash, check, MasterCard, and Visa. * To use our on-line services and to ensure the security of the data, your browser must include 128-bit encryption for your Internet communications.
