Health For Your LifetimeCancers of the Lung and Esophagus
Last year, more than 1,800 Iowans died from cancers of the lung and bronchus. The incidence rates of lung cancers are on the rise—and it’s not all about smoking. In addition, the lifetime risk of esophageal cancer in the United States is 1 in 200. The good news is that there are some exciting new tools being used to detect and treat these cancers. Hear experts with Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center present a comprehensive overview of lung and esophageal cancers and some of the advances being made in the fight against them.
