met the public for the first time November 13 at the University of Iowa
Men’s Basketball Miracle game, sponsored by University of Iow Heath
Care and Children’s Miracle Network to benefit Children’s Hospital
of Iowa.
University of Iowa Children's Hospital staff and pediatric patients got a
preview of Perky November 11 as Herky, Iowa’s mascot, introduced
the newest addition to University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
Perky was the brainchild of the University of Iowa Children's Hospital Youth
Advisory Council. The group is made up of former Children’s Hospital
of Iowa patients who share their views with administrators.
