Spinach Dip

1 cup fat-free sour cream

1 cup fat-free mayonnaise

1 6-ounce can water chestnuts, sliced

1 10-ounce package frozen spinach, thawed and drained

1 package dried vegetable soup mix or dried onion soup mix--your preference

  1. Dice water chestnuts.
  2. Thaw and drain frozen spinach thoroughly.
  3. Mix all ingredients together blending soup mix in well.
  4. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. (Best when made 24 hours in advance.)
  5. Serve with raw vegetables or low-fat crackers or whole grain bread cubes for dipping
