Hummus

1 15-ounce can garbanzo beans, drained 1/3 cup tahini*
Juice of one fresh lemon 1 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic Parsley as garnish

* Sesame seed paste available at specialty food markets

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth.
  2. Allow to chill at least six hours for flavors to blend.
  3. Serve with toasted wedges of pita bread.
