Chicken Macaroni Salad

4 cups macaroni, cooked 1 15-ounce can pineapple chunks
1 pound chicken breast, or 2 cans chicken 1 cup raisins
1 cup mayonnaise 1 cup cheddar cheese
1 8-ounce jar maraschino cherries, halved 1 Tablespoon sugar
1 8-ounce jar sweet pickle relish 3-4 Tablespoons pineapple juice to taste
  1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper for boiling the chicken breast
  1. Boil the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Shred when cool (or use canned chicken).
  2. Boil the raisins in water in the microwave if desired, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients well. Chill before serving.
Note: Keeps well in the refrigerator.
