Fried Green Beans (Philippine Dish)

1/2 pound ground beef 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
1 pound green beans, clean and
cut in small pieces *
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
1 small onion, thinly sliced Optional: Add 1/4 cup water
  1. Add oil to a wok or nonstick skillet over high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry until you can smell the aroma, then add the onion and ground beef. Cook until beef is browned.
  2. Add green beans, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Cook until green beans are still crisp or well done, your preference.
  3. Serve with rice.
* Can substitute okra or cabbage for green beans. Do not use water when using okra.
