Broiled Salmon

1 pound salmon fillets, skin on

6 Tablespoon brown sugar

6 Tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

1 clove garlic, crushed

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

  1. Place salmon on broiler pan, skin side down.
  2. Combine sugar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a food processor. Process until garlic is pureed. Drizzle salmon with a few tablespoons of sugar/soy mixture.
  3. Broil 2 inches from broiler source for 10-15 minutes. Drizzle the fish with the sauce every few minutes. Broil until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Do not allow it to char. Serve immediately.
