Substitute for Maple Syrup
From the recipe collection of Jeni
 
1 cup brown rice syrup
3 cups water
5 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. maple flavoring
 
Cook syrup, water and cornstarch until slightly thickened.  Stir in flavoring.  Transfer to storage container and store in refrigerator.
