Brown Rice Syrup Oatmeal Bread
(bread machine recipe for 1 1/2 # loaf) –
From the recipe collection of Nancy
1 cup + 3 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. brown rice syrup
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 1/3 cups bread flour
1 cup quick oats
2 Tbsp. dry milk
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. active dry yeast
Place all ingredients in bread pan in order suggested by manufacturer. Since
bread machines differ in liquid to dry ingredient ratio, adjustment of water
to flour may be necessary by composition of dough. Select “Light
Crust” setting, and press “Start”. After baking cycle
is completed, remove bread from pan, place on cooling rack, and allow to cool
1 hour before cutting.
