Ponseti Clubfoot Center
University of Iowa, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery
The Ponseti Clubfoot Center sees patients on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Patients may schedule appointments with Dr. Jose Morcuende, Dr. Fred Dietz, or Dr. Stuart Weinstein. Dr’s Morcuende, Dietz and Weinstein have a collective experience of using the Ponseti method of over 80 years. All have worked with Dr. Ponseti their entire careers. Dr Ponseti remains in good health and is active in all clinical and research activities related to the Ponseti Clubfoot Clinic. At nearly 95 years of age, Dr Ponseti has requested that we “lighten” his clinical responsibilities. He requested that we let all current and prospective patients know that he is well and that his work is continuing with Dr’s Morcuende, Dietz and Weinstein; the colleagues that he trained and worked side by side with at the Ponseti Clubfoot Clinic for the last 40 years.

A reprint of Dr. Ignacio Ponseti's book entitled "Congenital Clubfoot: Fundamentals of Treatment" is now available. To order your copy, please call (319) 356-3469.
Thanks to the Ponseti International Association, all patients will be seen at the University of Iowa's Ponseti Clubfoot Treatment Center regardless of financial resources.
