I was treated for clubfoot by Dr. Ponseti at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics when I was an infant, in 1964.

The corrective treatment of bilateral casting was a complete success, as I grew up with no pain or disability of any kind. Both of my feet are completely normal in appearance and function. I am an avid walker, as walking is the main part of my fitness regimen, and do not experience any abnormal foot or leg pain.
